Prague in 3 Days
These three days in Prague take you along quiet garden axes, across squares steeped in history and up to the city's great silhouettes. You walk through lanes where the perspective keeps shifting: first baroque and still, then wide and monumental, then dense and full of detail again. That's exactly how the Prague feeling you came for takes shape: plenty of history, strong images and routes that seem to unfold on their own.
What makes this route special is the alternation between famous highlights and the moments in between. You see the big classics, but always in an order that gives the days a clear rhythm and builds Prague piece by piece.

This trip is ideal for anyone who prefers to discover a city on foot and wants to experience culture along the way rather than just tick it off. The pace is pleasantly active and suits a long weekend with an interest in history, architecture and atmospheric neighbourhoods.
What to expect
Look forward to three well-filled days with plenty of walking, but without hectic jumps across the city. The route mixes green breaks, historic quarters and major sights, so each day takes on a character of its own.
Day 1 · Prague
Gardens, lanes, grand backdrop
To start, Prague begins surprisingly quietly in the Waldstein Garden, where gravel paths, clear axes and peacocks immediately set a different pace. Then you head through Malá Strana, a quarter best understood on foot, with short climbs, silent corners and ever-new angles. By the time you reach Prague Castle at the latest, everything opens up: courtyards, façades and the interplay of closeness and distant views make this first day feel grand without being overloaded.

Across the Vltava into history
The second day starts on Kampa Island, relaxed and close to the water, with a side of Prague that feels almost easygoing. Then the Charles Bridge pulls you straight into the classic cityscape, where the walk itself is already part of the experience. In Josefov the mood becomes more focused and history-conscious, and the Old Jewish Cemetery | Prague is one of those places that stay with you for a long time.

Views and an old-town finale
In the morning, Letná Park opens up the view over the city and gives you room to breathe before you dive back into the dense historic spaces. In the Spanish Synagogue, Prague shows yet another, finer and deeply atmospheric side. At the end, the Old Town Square gathers everything that makes this city so strong: façades, movement, history, and right in the middle the Prague Astronomical Clock as a precise, almost theatrical closing note.
