Krakow in 3 Days
Three days in Krakow feel like a constant shift in perspective: quiet lanes in the morning, wide squares at midday, then rooms full of history later on. You walk through Kazimierz, circle the Wawel and stand on the Rynek right at the heart of the city. In between lie museums and churches that make Krakow not just beautiful, but tangible.
This route connects the great landmarks with neighbourhoods where Krakow keeps its own pace. The result is a city break that shows a lot without ever feeling rushed.

This trip is ideal for you if you prefer to discover cities on foot and want to experience architecture, history and atmosphere together. The pace is pleasantly active and works well for a long weekend with plenty of curiosity, but no constant rushing.

Day 1 · Kraków
Between History and Narrow Streets
To start, the Old Synagogue takes you straight into a chapter of Krakow's history that still echoes through the cityscape today. Then you walk through Kazimierz, where narrow streets, courtyards and facades give the quarter its particular tension. Via the Planty you finally cross into a different Krakow: more space, more air, a green ring as a calm contrast.

Experiencing Royal Krakow
The day begins with the Town Hall Tower and a view of the historic centre from a new perspective. The route then leads to Wawel Cathedral, where the significance of Wawel Hill is instantly palpable. In the Wawel Royal Castle-State Art Collection the picture continues: stately rooms, art and history interlock here as a matter of course.

Market Square and Moving History
With St. Mary's Basilica you start right in the middle of Krakow's most famous scene, between brick, height and the rhythm of the square. In the Rynek Underground Museum you then go below the surface, where the history of the Main Square suddenly becomes spatial and very concrete. To finish, the focus shifts to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, which gives the day another, haunting depth.
