Day 1 · Cologne
History, Art and the Cathedral
The first day begins at the National Socialism Documentation Center of the City of Cologne, where Cologne's past becomes dense and directly tangible. Then the mood shifts in Kolumba: restrained rooms, art and architecture that invite you to look closely. At the Duftmuseum im Farina Haus things turn more sensory and narrative, before you let the day wind down with a view of the Cologne Cathedral.

Rhine Views and Old Town
On the second day you start on the Hohenzollern Bridge, with the river and the city backdrop right in front of you. Through the Rheingarten and on into the Old Town Cologne, the city shows itself more open, relaxed and full of movement. At An Groß Sankt Martin the old-town feeling condenses once more, before modern art at the Museum Ludwig sets an exciting contrast to the historic surroundings.
