Marrakech in 4 Days
This route takes you right into the Marrakech of gardens, courtyards and alleys. You switch between quiet oases, ornate palaces and the dense rhythm of the medina, where new colors, patterns and sounds wait around every corner. Sometimes you look at tiles and water basins, sometimes at mountains and cascades, then again at squares full of movement.
What is special about this trip is the mix of city and a short excursion into the surroundings. So you experience Marrakech not only as a historic royal city but also as a place with a surprising amount of calm, craft and landscape right on the doorstep.

Day 1 · Marrakesh
Gardens and design
To open, Marrakech shows its quiet, elegant side. In Le Jardin Secret you immediately feel how much stillness can lie behind the walls of the medina, before the Jardin Majorelle sets a very different accent with its bold colors and clean lines. In the Yves Saint Laurent Museum this becomes a day that effortlessly brings together garden art, fashion and city history.

Images, souks, square life
The day begins in the House of Photography in Marrakech with views of a Marrakech of times past. Then you dive into the Souk Semmarine, where fabrics, leather, light and voices condense into a dense city experience. To close, the Jemaa el-Fnaa draws you in, developing more and more energy toward later and capturing the day with full force.

Minaret and excursion
In the morning the Koutoubia sets a clear point of orientation and attunes you to the historic layers of the city. Then Setti Fadma (Ourika Valley & 7 Cascades) opens the view into the green and into a completely different landscape than the narrow medina. Back in Marrakech, the Madrasa Ben Youssef, with its ornaments and quiet interior, feels almost like a concentrated summary of what makes the city so special.

Palaces and old quarters
With the Bahia Palace the day begins splendidly but never ponderously: rooms, courtyards and decor show how cleverly power was staged here. In the Mellah the atmosphere shifts noticeably, and you get a sense of how diversely the city grew historically. Later, Tinsmiths Square and El Badi Palace lead you once more to places where Marrakech feels raw, monumental and full of stories at the same time.
