Dublin in 3 Days
These three days in Dublin feel like an interplay of sea air, old libraries and lively streets. In the morning you stand by the water at Howth Harbour, later you walk through the courtyards of Trinity College Dublin and see one of Ireland's most famous books at The Book of Kells Experience. Day 1 · Dublin
Coast and old books
You start at Howth Harbour, where boats, gulls and the crisp air instantly show a different Dublin. Then you move into the heart of the city to Trinity College Dublin, whose historic courtyards form a strong contrast to the coast. With The Book of Kells Experience and the hushed atmosphere of Marsh’s Library, the day ends among pages, wooden shelves and centuries-old knowledge.

Green, heavy, stone
The day begins wide and open in Phoenix Park, where Dublin suddenly feels generous and surprisingly calm. Things then turn more industrial and urban at the Guinness Storehouse, with a look at a part of the city's history that is still present today. Afterwards, St Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral lead you through two striking church interiors where power, faith and architecture can be read directly.

Treasures, lanes, cliffs
The day starts focused and rich in detail at the Chester Beatty, almost like a small journey around the world through collections and written cultures. Around Dublin Castle you then sense how closely representation and history sit together in Dublin, before things get noticeably livelier in Temple Bar. To finish, the Howth Cliff Walk (Green Route) opens up the horizon once more: sea, wind and the view along the coast give the trip a strong final accent.
