Côte d'Azur in 5 Days

This trip takes you right through the picture book of the Côte d'Azur: viewpoints above the sea in the morning, old-town lanes at midday, harbours and promenades in the evening. Day 1 · Nice

Views and Old Town in Nice

To start, you climb above the city in the Parc du Mont Boron and immediately get a sense of how beautifully coast and hills interlock here. Then it's on to the Colline du Château, where Nice opens up once more from a different perspective. Later you dive into old nice, between narrow lanes, facades in warm colours and the lively pulse of the old town.

Day 2 · Nice

Art, Square and Sea

The day begins quietly at the Monastère de Cimiez, a little above the city and far from the bustle of the coast. The Matisse Museum turns it into a focused cultural moment before you head back to the centre. On the Place Massena, Nice opens up wide and urban again, and by the Promenade des Anglais at the latest you have fully settled into the relaxed rhythm of the seafront.

Day 3 · Monaco

Monaco between Rock and Glamour

In Monaco you start at the Exotic Garden of Monaco, with spectacular heights and a view of the principality from an unusual angle. Then the path leads up to the Prince's Palace of Monaco, where the complex above the rock is especially impressive. To finish, the Casino de Monte-Carlo sets a completely different tone: urban, elegant and unmistakably Monaco.

Day 4 · Antibes

Antibes with Market and Walls

Antibes begins strikingly at Le Fort Carré, where the coast shows a firmer, almost fortified side. From there you move on to Port Vauban Antibes, where boats, masts and movement gather tightly in front of the town backdrop. Later things get more immediate and everyday at the Marché provençal, before Vieil Antibes, with its lanes and squares, lets the day wind down beautifully.

Day 5 · Cannes

Cannes between Harbour and Hill

In Cannes you start at the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes, where the city immediately shows its famous public face. Then you walk along the Boulevard de la Croisette, always with the sea, the facades and plenty of movement in view. Finally, Le Suquet brings calm and elevation: up here Cannes suddenly feels more historic, narrower and much more personal.
